EVTC

Experience Vocational Training Center (EVTC) is located at Kiembe Samaki the nearest to Mombasa central school along the side of the oldest airport roadway,was launched since 2016.

EVTC is a center for certificate on continual studies of electrical installation.

 EVTC has got fully registration with government Institution of Vocation Training Authority in Zanzibar which is VTC/2022/04/00069/02, and provides training at certificate level for two or three years for those students who completed their secondary educations, and those who succeed get the chances to proceed with diploma level for electrical engineering or vocational teacher training.

EVTC graduates are giving award of certificates from Karume Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) and  Vocational Training Authority. (VTA) Zanzibar.

Electrical installation courses of EVTC for two years make a student to perform well the following works:

1.  Install electrical fittings in the small houses.
2.  Repair all  electrical appliances except television and radio.
3. Install solar electrical fittings in the small houses.
4. Solving electrical problems in domestic premises, hotels and the like.

 Electrical installation courses of EVTC for three years make a student to perform well the following works :

1. Install electrical fittings in the houses, hotels and industries.
2. Repair all electrical appliances.
3.  Install electrical fittings on the fences for security.
4. Install solar electrical fittings in the house, hotels and industries.
5. Innovating and implementing electrical projects effectively and efficiently.
6. Solving electrical problems in the houses hotels and industries.
7. Continue to Diploma in Electrical Engineering course or Diploma in Vocational Teacher Training course for those who are well succeeded in their examination results.

The fee for electrical installation is two hundred and sixty thousand shillings (260,000/-) for each year of two years course and three hundred thousand shillings (300,000/-) for the third year course.
